Local Educational Resources
NEO and SWO STC chapters are offering a $1,000 scholarship for one deserving Ohio undergraduate, graduate, or community college student studying technical or scientific communication. The application deadline is Thursday, April 1, 2010. Click here for additional details and a promotional poster.

Online resources are so convenient. They come right to you in your home or workplace. Some are even free.
- ed2go provides online classes with live instructors in partnership with accredited colleges and universities. Check out their course catalog and find a partner school in your area on their web site.
- The Illinois Online Network (ION) is dedicated to developing, delivering, and supporting online enhanced education World.
- Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT) posts free course materials. Go to MIT Open Courseware and search on “technical communication”.
