Editor's Message

Welcome to the start of a new year at the STC-SWO. I am honored to have been chosen to be the editor for this year. We should recognize Denise Roberts for her work as the previous editor. Under her leadership, the newsletter won an Excellence award in the newsletter competition in June.

Every member may submit an article. Anything about your job search, your current work situation, trends in the profession, the use of language, or something personal you wish to share are all welcome.

I would like to thank the copyeditors Stacey Scott and Karen Stille for their efforts. Chris Schapman suggested several important improvements and posted the newsletter on the site. Thank you also to Jean Fudge for her guidance.
