Ever visited the STC member directory? If not, check it out sometime. You’re in there, and now you can control your information.

STC only updates the Member Directory once per year when you submit your registration, and the information is limited. So, I thought, why not give members the opportunity to share more information about themselves on the STC-SWO site?

Now you can update your information whenever you want through the STC-SWO website. But don’t worry, this information is still only available to members of STC.

I’m pleased to introduce you to the members.stc-swo.com website. Log in using your STC Member ID and Password. (Special thanks to Russ Bombardieri, the previous STC webmaster, for his help in setting up the member-only login.)

On the members.stc-swo.com website, you can now share with other members of STC your e-mail address, phone number, personal website (or blog), and resume. Although any STC member can log in and look around, only members of STC-SWO, Miami University (ST), and Cedarville (ST) chapters can upload their resumes. This is an added benefit to being a member of a local chapter.

The STC-SWO admin council decided to simplify resume sharing to the outside world by using the bulletin boards, but if there’s enough interest, we can let you manage your resume through the member’s only site. We’re looking for feedback.

I can add fields for additional details—anythhing from your job title to your favorite restaurant in the area. It doesn’t have to be work-related, so just think about the kind of information you want to share among your fellow STC members. Just say the word, and I’ll make it happen.
