Editor’s Message

Time has flown by since the STC meetings resumed in September, and it is time to thank everyone who helped me during the year.

I would like to thank Stacey Molin (nee Scott) and Karen Stille for their copyediting efforts, Chris Schapman for posting the newsletter on the STC-SWO site, and Jean Fudge for her guidance. Thank you also to the writers, especially Elizabeth Evans Fryer, John Humpert, and Harold Fox.

Stacey will not be a copyeditor after this issue, so Elizabeth is taking her place. Good luck, Stacey!

The big news in this issue is that Thea Teich won the Associate Fellow Award and Sylvia Miller won the Distinguished SIG Service Award. Excellent!

If you know photographers who could use some publicity, I am willing to include their photographs in the newsletter when it resumes in September. I cannot pay them, but I will mention their names.

Being the editor has been an honor, and I look forward to resuming this work in September.
