What You Can Find Between the Lines?
First, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your Newsletter Editor for Between the Lines. As you know, Between the Lines has a brand new format this year and we want to provide relevant information for all of our readers. Each monthly newsletter includes the following:

  • Feature Article: Read about some of our most seasoned, most accomplished members, get hot new tips, or learn about today’s business trends from professionals actively working in our field!

  • Feature Photography: Each month we feature an artist to promote visual communication and increase the effectiveness of our Web newsletter. The most informative writing is never standalone and truly effective. Visual elements enhance readability of text-heavy content and improve comprehension of particular concepts or instructions.

  • An Interview with…: Just because we work in the same professional field doesn’t mean we all do the same thing! Some members are just starting their professional careers, others manage a staff, and some of us run our own businesses. Interested in seeing how diverse our field truly is? Read our monthly interviews!
  • Just Wondering…: Jerry Wonderly, our tech savvy columnist, writes about different technology issues in his monthly column. Is there something you’re “just wondering” about? Chances are Jerry is too – read his column to find out more about technology issues such as spamware and computer addiction.
  • President’s Message: Sarah Wigser, this year’s SWO-STC president, expands on her “Feel the ENERGY” theme in each monthly column. If you don’t know about “Feel the ENERGY”, read her September 2003 column to find out more!

  • Calling All Verbivores: Harold Fox reminds us that writing doesn’t have to be technical! Harold’s column provides creative insights, interesting concepts, intriguing publication reviews, and mind puzzlers you can spend the entire month trying to solve!
