September Meeting

SWO-STC kicks off the 2004-2005 program year with a fun, FREE networking event! Join us on Wednesday, September 15th to learn how to enjoy “pain-free” networking, even if networking is a dreaded event that you try to avoid! Use your new-found skills to network easily and comfortably.

Valerie McClure, a Professional Certified Career Coach (PCCC), will provide us with networking “tricks of the trade”. Valerie's interactive presentation will help you identify who is in your network, develop a 60-second “commercial” about yourself, and implement techniques that enable positive, rewarding networking experiences. You will leave this meeting with tools and resources that take your networking skills to a new level.
Valerie is Director of Operations for ProTrain Services, Inc. and True North Career Services, a leading job-skills training and career services management firm in Cincinnati . Valerie is a regular presenter for Targeted Job Fairs and the Hyde Park Job Search Focus Group. In addition to completing the Master Certified Career Coach training, she is also a Mentor Coach and teaches Coaching With the Authentic Vocation Model for Career Coach Institute.
