Bartlomiej Fulanty

Bartlomiej is an IT specialist from Tarnów, Poland. He is
interested in web design, computer graphics, digital photography
and developing web solutions. Bartlomiej is currently employed as
a webmaster at Poland Development Gateway (www.pldg.pl),
a part of World Bank's Development Gateway project (www.developmentgateway.org),
and www.infoport.pl, a portal
for Polish administration and local governments.
"Because
I have full-time job, I photograph in my spare time. My experience
with digital photography started almost two years ago and it was
love at first sight. When I'm not out there capturing the moment
I enjoy spending time with my beloved girlfriend or playing computer
games."

Milan is an active member of the Toronto Single-Sourcing Special
Interest Group. This group is open to technical communicators in
the greater Toronto area who want to participate in discussions
about single-sourcing practices and technology.
Sarah

SWO-STC President
Sarah is a senior technical writer at Seapine Software
in Mason, Ohio, and is solely responsible for generating documentation
for three products. Documentation includes PDFs, online help, and
printed guides. Sarah uses FrameMaker, WebWorks Publisher, Dreamweaver,
and Paint Shop Pro in her daily work life. Outside of STC, you will
usually find Sarah at a bookstore or a local hiking trail—two
of her greatest loves. She also loves to travel, garden, try new
recipes, and she is an avid college basketball fan. In addition,
Sarah has a two-year old niece who seems to take up a lot of her
time.
Denise
Roberts

Denise Roberts has been a Learning Strategist at DigitalThink,
Inc., in downtown Cincinnati for the past four years. Her responsibilities
include developing and designing course content, animations, and
interactive learning applications. You will also find Denise directing
audio recordings, coordinating incoming calls, or even playing the
role of project management at DigitalThink. She completed a two-year
internship at Fluor Fernald as a Documentation Specialist while
she earned her degree in Technical Writing and Editing. In her free
time, you can find Denise playing with her two-year old daughter,
Anya Belle, or bargain shopping for her new home.
David
Michel
Copyeditor
David lives in Kettering, a suburb of Dayton, and currently
works at Sinclair Community College as an Application Specialist
in a user support capacity for the students and faculty. David has
obtained a Bachelors of Arts and Certification in Computer Programming
from Sinclair. He joined STC in July and has edited a number of
newsletter articles. Professionally, David would like to write software
documentation. He also likes to travel, play chess, and listen to
music.
Jane Steinmetz

Engineer
Jane
lives in Cincinnati and recently was a Senior Technical Writer for
GGS Information Services. She drew on her background in machine
and product design to write operator's and maintenance manuals for
a client that manufactures packaging machines. Currently she is
in the process of homing in on the next direction of her career
path. She began her career as a product designer with a BS in Industrial
Design from the University of Cincinnati. Over the years, in addition
to writing, she has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator,
database programmer, and operations manager. In her free time, Jane
has volunteered for the past 15 years with a program that works
with at-risk youth.
Harold
Fox
Columnist
Harold is a senior STC member, enjoying being retired from
the working world. Besides writing "Calling All Verbivores,"
Harold is serving SWO STC as Representative to the Affiliate Societies
Council in Dayton, co-chair for TechFest 2004, and convener of the
Creative Writing SIG. Since retirement Harold has resumed active
participation in theater, having now acted in seven productions
since coming off hiatus. He is the moderator (lay leader) of his
congregation and a member of the boards of directors for Leaders
for Equality and Action in Dayton (LEAD) and the Dayton Theatre
Guild.
Jerry Wonderly

A native Daytonian and freelance writer, Jerry Wonderly
is a nuts-and-bolts columnist for the Dayton Microcomputer Association's
award winning DataBus newsletter. He specializes in timely write-ups
about current cyber-events, trends, and free or inexpensive software
for the average computer user. He has worked as an advertising copywriter
and has had some poetry published, most notably in the concrete
style. Jerry is currently employed by Emery Worldwide as a cargo
handler. He has two years of college under his belt with an emphasis
on liberal arts. On the side, Jerry has volunteered for the past
20 + years. His volunteer efforts include stints in union/management
negotiations, community theater, neighborhood grant writing, playground
design, landscape architecture, tree planting, and chairman of neighborhood
improvement committees. A recreational bowler, Jerry once formed
a team named Pinsnatchers.
