Re-charter Approval
STC-SWO was one of seven communities approved as re-chartered at the January 2005 meeting of the STC Board of Directors. What does this mean for our members? More value!

Take a few momments to read it and find out what the chapter will be doing for you over the next few years. It's also a great time to decide how you want to contribute to the chapter - if you've been thinking about volunteering now is the time!

Chapter Elections
Chapter elections are right around the corner. Jean Fudge, this year’s vice president, will begin her term as president next year. We are currently identifying candidates for vice president and secretary. Are you interested in running for either position? Would you like to recommend someone? Contact Sarah Wigser, chapter president, to express your interest, recommend someone else, or find out more.

Bulletin Boards
Have you checked out our new chapter bulletin boards? If not, go to http://stc-swo.org/v-web/bulletin/bb/index.php to preview them and register. The bulletin boards are provided as a way to facilitate communication and help members and non-members find each other. There are a wide variety of forums ranging from ‘Looking for Work’ to ‘SIGS’ to ‘Tools and Technology’.
